A Liberdade de imprensa é a capacidade de um indivíduo de publicar e acessar informação (usualmente na forma de notícia), através de meios de comunicação em massa, sem interferência do Governo. A liberdade de imprensa é tida como positiva porque incentiva a difusão de múltiplos pontos de vista, incentivando o debate e por aumentar o acesso à informação e promover a troca de ideias política, ideológica e artística. de forma a reduzir e prevenir tensões e conflitos..
Embora a liberdade de imprensa seja a ausência da influência estatal,
ela pode ser garantida pelo governo através da legislação.
Há uma diferença entre a censura e a proibição da liberdade de expressão.
É obrigação do Estado intervir em mensagens e linguagens
onde se fomenta a violência, a pornografia e a tendenciosidade a tal
ou qual forma de pensar, onde verifica-se claramente
o desrespeito ao pensamento alheio e a falta de ordem.
Hoje vemos o mundo sofrendo com essa revolta em virtude
de um filme e vídeo, criado por uma pessoa, de aparência desiquilibrada mentalmente, agindo o intuito de gerar violências, Conflitos e até Guerra. Ofendendo o Profeta Maomé, rIdicularizando-o em situações mentirosas e desrespeitosas,
ao grande Lider Espiritual da segunda maior religião mundial.
Vamos pedir em nome da Paz e do Amor,
que seja retirado de circulação tal Instrumento de discórdia
e que haja uma “Censura Internacional” quanto a esse tipo de procedimento.
